SUPERB WORK FROM Year 5

< BACKThe Great Galloon Book Review By Year 5, Canvey Junior School

The Great Galloon is an adventurous, funny and humorous book that is for everyone to read. This book was written by Tom Banks and this man has a sense of humour that nobody else has! The main character Stanley Crumplehorn works on the Galloon with his friend Rassumusen. However the Galloon gets into trouble when the Captain is due to wed Lady Isabelle: Evil Zebidiah the Captain’s twin brother steals the bride. Now the comical crew of the Great Galloon are on a mission to get Isabelle back. The book contains plenty of drama, friendship and historical features. I would recommend the book for 8 and over due to the fact the book has expressions that youngsters would understand. I would rate this book five stars out of five because it has a good sense of humour which can catch your imagination. If you haven’t read it, I suggest you do because you’re missing out.
