Zeki is off to his baby swimming class with his Daddy. Safe within his father’s arms, he clearly loves the water, splashing and playing alongside all the babies with their mums or dads. The language in this endearing book is simple, with one sentence to a page – and some onomatopoeia that invites even very young children to participate.

The Firebird asks a little girl, Masha, to help hide her eggs from the witch, Baba Yaga. Masha paints them to match the four elements – earth, water, air and fire – but has to do even more when Baba Yaga gets her hands on the last one…
