About James Mayhew
James Mayhew has been bringing art to life for children with his best-selling series of books aboutKatie, and her adventures in art galleries, for 25 years. The books are sold all over the world and are recognised as classics. He is also the creator of Ella Bella Ballerina, and has now published over sixty books for children.An experienced storyteller, James has also devised and performed in a series of unique orchestral concerts for children with narration and live illustration. James speaks internationally at major literature and music festivals and teaches at Cambridge School of Art.
