About Jacinta Read
I am a Eurasian artist and writer currently involved as a mentee in the Pathways Into Children’s Publishing initiative for BAME and otherwise under-represented illustrators.
In 2018 I earned a PhD in creative writing, and have had the privilege of teaching my subject at Goldsmiths, University of London; The Oxfordshire Recovery College; and City University of Hong Kong.
I live in East Oxford with my husband, our two children, and Louie the red Jack Russell. We are a neurodivergent family.
