About Holly Sterling
Holly is a children’s book illustrator living in Sunderland. Her books are funny and lively, looking at family, childhood and friendship in a playful, slightly surreal way. She brings these to life in the classroom, leaving children with a sense of excitement about books and stories.
Holly's next author illustrated book, 'Karate Kids' launches with Walker Books (1/2/2020) in perfect time for Karate hitting the Olympic scene first the first time in Tokyo next year. Being a karate champion and teacher herself, makes this an extra special book for Holly with the characters being inspired by the many karate kids that she has taught over the past 15 years.
